July 2, 2-3pm: Manic Monday at Orange Public Library & History Center. Teen volunteers present craft and game programs for 1st-6th graders. Children may win prizes such as toys, posters, or t-shirts! This Monday, join Orange Public Library & History Center for scary stories, creepy crafts, and spooky games. Warning: you must not be afraid of the dark! July 3, 2-2:45pm: Night Stalkers, a live animal show, will be at Orange Public Library & History Center. Learn about nocturnal animals in this show, presented by Wonders of Wildlife. July 4, 8am: Orange Park Acres 5K Run/Walk! Join the fun on this unique course thru Orange Park Acre neighborhoods, past horse pastures, unusual farm animals, and miniature horses. The route closely follows the annual Orange Park Acres 4th of July Parade which will immediately follow the 5K at 9:30 am. Custom medals are awarded to the top three finishers of each age group! All pre-registrations receive free t-shirts as well! To register, go HERE. The race starts at Salem Church, located at 6500 East Santiago Canyon Road. Parking for this event is at Sully Miller Horse Area on Santiago Rd.
July 5, 2-4pm: Stop by Orange Public Library & History Center’s Thursday Family Film Festival! This week’s movie: Happy Feet Two (PG.) Popcorn and snacks will be available for purchase. This event is sponsored by the Orange Public Library Foundation.
