Speaking of, who has their New Year’s Resolutions already planned? I know each year I remind myself to continue my journey of healthy eating and staying active throughout my day. Healthy Eating – Healthy eating is among one of the most popular New Year’s Resolutions. Luckily enough, Old Towne has so many places to inspire your 2018 health-kick! For example, Rutabegorz describes themselves as a New American restaurant, offering vegetarian and vegan options, as well as healthy soups, salads, and sandwiches. Giving More – No matter what your love language is, giving back to friends, family, and organizations is a New Years Resolution that will make anyone feel good. The act of giving makes you feel as good as the person you are giving too! This year, consider finding a treasure at one of Old Towne’s many antique shops or visiting The Dizzy Daisy to pick out the perfect bouquet for someone special in your life! Getting More Sleep – This is a wish of many people throughout the year, not just after New Year’s Eve. To get more sleep, visit your favorite coffee shops before 4PM (that is my mom’s golden rule) and try not looking at your electronics an hour before bed.
