As I pass by the plaza in Old Towne Orange I can feel my excitement start to build. A left turn on N. Grand Ave and my adrenaline is now officially in overdrive. It’s the second Saturday of the month, which means the Flea Market will be in full swing from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Although my first “find” was for a parking space, it’s well worth the effort. This quaint flea market is packed with all kinds of treasures that are “new to you.” From furniture to collectibles, there is something here for everyone, even your dog can shop at this monthly pet friendly event.
One of my favorite booths sells beautiful vintage jewelry that is reasonably priced.
On this particular day, I encountered a lively debate in progress regarding the late comedian Red Skelton, In this crowd’s opinion, Red was clearly the greatest entertainer that ever lived (my grandparents would have agreed but I quickly move on).
If you love all things nostalgic and a place with endless variety, mark your calendars to attend the next Flea Market on July 14th. You won’t be disappointed.
