For years, dogs wished and plotted for their humans to stay home. They pawed, whined, and put on their cutest faces to convince us not to go—only to be let down. Here we share the best dog-friendly restaurants in Old Towne Orange.
Last year, they finally won. We were forced to stay in, and in turn, we got to spend some extra quality time with our furry pals.
With things now resembling some type of pre-covid normalcy, it is harder to leave them behind. We may not always have a choice to bring our dogs everywhere with us, but we’re happy to share that living in Old Towne Orange makes it easier to include them in our local outings!
Meet Arthur, our resident dog-friendly patio expert. He takes his job of scoping out fur-iendly spaces very seriously.
He loves any place where he can successfully third wheel date night, supervise brunch, and make sure everyone is well behaved while enjoying cocktails.
While most of our neighborhood restaurants with outdoor seating welcome dogs, Arthur has weighed in on his favorite places.

Pinkies Up!
The staff at Paris in a Cup were gracious hosts to Arthur, making him feel welcomed right away with a damask printed water bowl—very on brand!
While the menu doesn’t directly cater to furry friends, this spot in town is the perfect place to have tea for two, you and your fur babe.
The Wall for All
It’s convenient location and breezy patio makes The Wall a perfect place to enjoy a brew or two with your pooch.
Arthur especially loves people (and dog) watching from a safe distance in this idyllic outdoor seating area.
Haven is a Place on Earth
Shady, scenic, and an eager-to-please staff makes Haven Craft Kitchen + Bar a great destination for an afternoon out with your pup! Arthur is a big fan of the turf, making it comfortable enough for him to chill under the table while his humans enjoy their drinks and meal.
While we couldn’t cover every restaurant and cafe with outdoor seating, you can feel more confident knowing that there are places where your furry family member is welcome to join you for a meal out. Continue below for some other pooches enjoying their day out on the towne.
