The Duchess by NM Designs, under the ownership of Nicole McFayden and Kate Aukerman, will celebrate its return with a Grand Reopening Open House to the public on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., marking the next chapter for the historic property located at 910 E. Chapman Avenue in Old Towne Orange.
Former owner Shelly Kim will be honored at the event. The interior of the home will be open to the public to view and purchase new merchandise, as well as enjoy uniquely designed charcuterie boards, music, and beverages.
The Duchess by NM Designs is the premier destination for thoughtfully curated home goods and seasonal décor in Old Towne Orange. Starting on March 10, 2026, the shop will be open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and will include a dedicated parking lot for guests.
