Old Towne Orange will come alive with the irresistible aroma of spices and simmering pots as the Orange Rotary Club hosts its 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, June 21st.

The chili cook-off will be held in the heart of the historic district at Chapman Crafted. The event will be bigger than last year and the Orange Rotary Club is expecting thousands of attendees.
It will be a day of food and a lively crowd of food lovers, families, and local supporters eager to taste the best chili the city has to offer.

Building on the success of its inaugural event, this year’s cook-off will feature more than a dozen competitors ranging from local restaurants and amateur chefs to community organizations. Each will bring their own unique spin on the classic chili recipe — from smoky Texas-style to spicy vegetarian blends — all vying for the coveted “Best Chili” title.

Guests will strolled through Chapman Crafted and sample entries and cast their votes for the People’s Choice Award, while a panel of local judges made their picks based on taste, creativity, and presentation. Live music, beer, and vendors will keep the energy high and the atmosphere family-friendly.

Proceeds from the event support the Orange Rotary Club’s charitable initiative, particularly the La Veta Village project by Home Aid

With enthusiastic turnout and even more entries than last year, the Orange Rotary Club’s Chili Cook-Off is fast becoming a beloved tradition in Old Towne Orange.
