Valentine’s Day in Old Towne Orange

You absolutely don’t need a Valentine to have an outstanding Valentine’s Day. You MIGHT have one – but you don’t NEED one, is what I am saying. Valentine’s Day is for you and your best friend, you and your family, you and your dog and most importantly, it’s for YOU.

Whether you want to hit the town with your best girlfriends, go bar hopping with your parents, or take a walk with the dog, this Valentine’s Day is full of so many fun, love-filled options in Old Towne Orange.

Let’s jump right in to see how you can make this Valentine’s Day in Old Towne Orange!

Brunch at Snooze A.M. Eatery

Have you heard the news? Or should I have said…. the snews? Snooze: an AM Eatery just opened in Old Towne Orange!

If you don’t know, Snooze is a hip brunch spot that serves “creative twists on America’s favorite breakfast classics in a casual, friendly and vibrant atmosphere.”

This past weekend, I got to visit Snooze and try some of their signature dishes (and a mimosa) and fully experience Snooze in Old Towne Orange for myself.

If you are thinking of grabbing brunch on this Valentine’s Day, Snooze will be a perfect choice. But make sure to get there early – the line is always crazy long.

Snooze Waitlist

But here’s our biggest tip – join the waitlist before heading to the restaurant to get a head start! Visit their website, or join the waitlist via Yelp. FYI – they will not seat you until everyone in your party is present.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Snooze!

Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate

It sounds cliche but who wouldn’t want to pick up some delicious chocolates on V-Day this year? Old Towne Orange is lucky to have an amazing bakery with all the chocolatey sweets you can imagine.

Who has been to Haute Sweets Baking Co? Behind the glass counter, you will find brownies, truffles, cookies, and more.

They often have huge candy apples – which are A class for Haute Sweets. If you visit them this V-Day, you’ll be sure to find a delicious treat for you and your Valentine to snack on while taking a walk in the Plaza.

Flowers

And of course, what would Valentine’s Day be without some flowers for your mom, sister, or loved one? The Dizzy Daisy is our favorite stop for all flower needs because they work with your exact budget, size, and color choices.

They make custom arrangements AND have pre-made arrangements if you are in a hurry. They take orders online or over the phone and will help you create the most beautiful bouquet this Valentine’s Day! Order now!

Specials

A few restaurants around the circle occasionally have a Valentine’s day special! This year, Citrus City Grille is hosting Dinner For Two between 4-9PM! They will be offering a romantic 4-course meal for you and your Valentine – so be sure to reserve your table here!

Things To Do

And lastly, a perfect way to end Valentine’s Day is by hitting the town!

Whether that is by taking a walk around the Plaza or visiting one of the many bars in Old Towne, end it with whatever makes you happy!

For college students, Valentine’s Day is landing on a Thursday, which is college night at The District Bar and Lounge and Paul’s Cocktails.

Explore a new shop or get some ice cream at Afters. We hope everyone has an amazing week planning their Valentine’s Day in Old Towne Orange adventure – and we will see you right here on the blog next week!
