A Very Merry OTO Gift Guide 2020

The Old Towne Orange Circle (or the Plaza) is known for its variety of places to explore. From thrift shops to restaurants, and desserts to coffee, you really can find everything you need in the heart of OTO. This holiday season, we want to help you check off every item on your holiday shopping list! Whether you’re an OTO local or just stopping through town before the end of the year, bring this easy gift guide with you for all of the members of your fam! And better yet, many OTO merchants offer curbside pick-up for quick and safe shopping this year. Let’s get to it!

Clothes

The Orange Circle has clothing stores for every style and person in your life. For boutique-style fashion, visit Laurenly, CocoRose, and Nectar. They offer high-end dresses, tops, jewelry, sunglasses, jackets, sweaters, and more. For masculine thrifted ware, visit Joyride Vintage or the Army Navy Store, where you can find a collection of jackets, boots, long-sleeve shirts, and khakis. The Collection, a clothing store further north on Glassell, has even more finds for any style at excellent prices. If you are looking for more vintage ware, visit the many other thrift shops around the Plaza. No matter what clothing pieces you’re looking for, you’re in good hands in OTO!

Watches & More

Our local Watches and Wares in Old Towne Orange offers timeless one-of-a-kind watches, designer handbags, bracelets, and rings from designers such as Tiffany & Co., Cartier, and Van Cleef & Arpels. These pieces have been well maintained and restored to their original beauty, and are perfect to gift this holiday season. Watches and Wares is a great stop on your holiday shopping trip for some luxury finds this year.

The Gift of Food

For the restaurants that our family and friends love but cannot visit frequently, consider buying them a gift card – or even a takeout meal – as a nice holiday gift. Grab some appetizers from Gabbi’s or Haven and deliver them to your best friends. Pick up some sweet fruit tarts at Pandor or desserts at Paris in a Cup! Support local businesses, support your friends, AND enjoy great food this year!

Toys

Of course, our favorite local toy store Tiddlywinks is the one-stop-shop for board games, stuffed animals, and all of the toys your kiddos can imagine! They also carry baby clothing, bikes, scooters, puzzles, and outdoor games. They offer free delivery anywhere in the U.S. on orders over $100 and free delivery in Orange on orders over $50. Visit them online today!

Flowers

Bring home the gift of beautiful flowers this holiday season with special made-to-order and premade floral arrangements from The Dizzy Daisy. Take home a rose bouquet or a cacti desert-inspired plant for the holidays that will brighten up your living space. We love them and know you will too! The Dizzy Daisy is available for curbside pickup and contactless porch delivery.

House Plants

House plants have become more and more popular over the last few years, and Old Towne Orange has some for you to pick up TODAY! Nectar has a lovely collection of house plants for your indoor or patio needs. And of course, The Potting Shed has a wide selection of house plants and garden plants that will make you want to become a plant parent as soon as you walk into the store. Visit their new location right in the heart of the Circle if you haven’t already!

Old Towne Orange Love

If you don’t already know, no one has better OTO swag than us! Our merch store is filled with apparel, such as dad hats and t-shirts, tote bags, mugs, pillows, phone cases, beanies, and more. And we just released our new I Heart face masks (for style and protection) and our sticker collection to decorate your favorite personal items. Do you have a Chapman alum in the family? A mom or dad who grew up in Orange? A sibling? A significant other? You will be sure to find something in our shop for everyone on your list this holiday season.

Of course, the best way to shop is by taking a trip to OTO and perusing the shops and restaurants for yourself – in our newly launched OTO face masks, of course! Take the opportunity this unique holiday season to shop locally to support our businesses in Old Towne Orange, or wherever you are! Have a great weekend everyone, and we will see you shopping around Towne.
