FRIDAY, MAY 3, 2024

FREE Museum | The Hilbert Museum of California Art 
10:00AM-5:00PM (every Friday and Saturday)
The Hilbert Museum is home of one of the world’s largest collections of California narrative art. Founded through the ongoing generosity of art patrons and philanthropists Mark and Janet Hilbert, it represents the only museum in the world committed to tracing the rich, iconic history of the Golden State from the late 19th century to the present day through works by leading California Scene artists and Hollywood studio artists and animators.

FREE Farm Fridays | OHG Education Farm
9:00AM-11:00AM (every Friday)
If you are interested in volunteering on the farm, please contact their farm volunteer coordinator Christine Clarke: [email protected] for more information. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Waiver must be completed prior to volunteering on site. Live music, the OHG Kid’s Club, yoga classes, cooking demos, pet-sitting (Park Your Paws), market tours, EBT/Market Match & food trucks make our market a must-visit Saturday spot for the whole community. 

FREE Yoga at the Farmer’s Market | Orange Home Grown – 303 W. Palm Ave.
9:00AM – 11:00AM
The first Saturday of every month you can find Sunspark Yoga offering FREE yoga classes at the farmer’s market. 9am is an “All Levels” class and 10:15am is a “Kids” class. Bring your yoga mat down to the farmer’s market and join the fun. 

FREE Dungeons & Dragons (Grades 6-12) | Orange Public Library
10:00am – 1:00pm
Use teamwork and imagination to battle monsters and search for treasure in this exciting tabletop game for tweens and teens. Beginners and experienced players welcome.

Registration required. Please register online beginning April 20. (Grades 6-12)

This FREE event will feature marching bands, floats, cos players, community groups, and more! 

SUNDAY, MAY 5, 2024

$75 Tea and Macaron Art Workshop | The Potting Shed by Carlisle
11:00AM – 2:00PM
It’s Tea for two or more, a great Mother’s Day treat and activity! Join local artist Tina Heiland, from Elli Design Studio and Elli’s Painted Sugar, for a creative Tea and Macaron Art Workshop! In this workshop participants will have the opportunity to paint and style mini macarons and make their own tea bomb. Topics include familiarization with cookie painting tools, paints, glitter embellishments and exploration into different types of teas and edible flowers for your tea bomb. We will demonstrate how to properly outline and paint basic flower designs and how to assemble your tea bags and tea bomb. Participants will go home with 4-5 macarons, a tea bomb, and a boxed vintage teacup. All tools and materials are supplied for the workshop.

$15-$25 Taste of Orange | Assistance League of Orange – 124 S Orange St., Old Towne Orange
3:00PM – 7:00PM
Featuring food, beer, and wine tastings from top local restaurants and breweries.  You do not want to miss the opportunity to come together and celebrate the wonderful restaurants of Orange!

This event also includes a silent auction, opportunity drawings, music and MORE! Proceeds benefit the Orange Blossoms Auxiliary, an auxiliary of the Assistance League of Orange.

Their programs focus on helping children and families within our local community, including partnering with organizations such as Orange Public Library, Orange Unified Schools, CHOC Hospital, Casa Teresa, The Hub, and many others!
