Give Back to the Community: Volunteer in Old Towne Orange

The sunny summer months are fast approaching! Many of us are beginning to prepare for vacation getaways and leisurely downtime. With temperatures continuing to rise, we will soon be creating new memories with family and loved ones. Although there’s so much to look forward to, it’s easy to get swept up in the excitement and lose sight of our neighbors in need. One fulfilling way to enjoy the sensational season ahead is to spend your spare time volunteering! There are so many opportunities right here in Old Towne Orange. Interested in helping others and making a difference? See our list of places to volunteer below.

Love the Orange Home Grown Farmers and Artisans Market? Imagine playing a significant role in their weekly community efforts. There’s a TON that goes into running a farmers market and so many ways to help! Volunteer behind the scenes by coordinating special events, or get hands on opportunities through various activities at the market every Saturday. Also, The Orange Home Grown Education Farm offers many ways to volunteer where families interested in organic farming can lend a hand. See the full page of volunteer opportunities HERE.
