I’m going to come clean right at the beginning of this post. I really enjoyed Smoqued BBQ, the newest in Old Towne Orange tastiness. I went last night with the family to give it a try and we were impressed. We had been to Beach Pit several times and while we weren’t huge fans, we still enjoyed it when we were in the mood. Well, last night we were in the mood for BBQ and Smoqued delivered.
Anybody been to Old Towne Diner yet, right here in OTO? I stopped by last night with my son to check it out. The place was cute, very old timey with red pleathery booths, juke boxes on each table (that actually do work which is fun) and a simple American style menu. The look and feel pretty much deliver on the name.
It’s no secret that one of my favorite things to do is to spend a relaxing afternoon strolling through the Orange historic district. As I make my way around the circle, a “must stop” always includes Country Roads, where the merchandise selection never fails to inspire. Today was no different. My intent was not to find the next treasure to feature in the latest Antique Addict blog. But that’s exactly what happened!
Many locals and visitors alike pass through this alley in Old Towne Orange, located between the Antique Station and Haven Gastropub, as they make their way to their destination du jour not realizing they’re passing by some not so hidden treasures outside the buildings along the way.
