Ruby's Diner and Streamliner Lounge Grand Opens Tomorrow, April 19 in Old Towne Orange

Woo hoo, I’m so excited for this opening. I’ve, very luckily, had the pleasure of dining at Ruby’s test service twice and I’m in, totally in! They are opening to the public tomorrow, April 19. What they’ve done with the interiors of the restaurant are so much fun and I’ve included some photos below. Not only will this Ruby’s be serving up their delicious and original menu, but they have created a separate menu for the Streamliner Lounge.

For those of you who like to shop Flea Market’s, we’ve got one right here in Old Towne Orange. It happens the 2nd Saturday of each month from 7am to 4pm at 146 N. Grand Street.

You’ll find furniture, old records and CDs, shoes, glassware, jewelry, baseball cards, vintage clothing, collectibles and SO much more.

I went into town this morning to take some more photos of all the changes going on in OTO. It’s pretty fun, new signage and banners up all over the place…it’s Hallelujah everything. I believe today is the last day of filming, so if you have a chance to take a drive through the traffic circle and check it out, I would do it!

ABC’s Pilot Hallelujah Being Filmed at Francoli This Week!

Many of you may have noticed some activity happening in the Plaza today. I’m sure a lot of you have seen the post from the Fastfood Maven about said activity too. I took a little trip down there myself today to see what all the fuss was about and took a few quick pix to share with you. ABC is filming a pilot called Hallelujah and they are currently in the process of transforming our beloved Francoli into the Cracked Kettle Diner. It’s crazy! Take a look at the one shot below of Francoli’s interior. It’s been completely gutted and is in the midst of becoming something altogether new…I can’t wait to head back down and see the transformation.
