I am a big proponent of Acupuncture, Osteopaths and other non-traditional types of treating your body’s issues. There have been many times in my life that I have used these types of doc’s to heal whatever it is that I’ve done to myself. Though, there was this one time that my step-dad gave me whiplash while trying to steal my winnings from a very serious game of Kanasta. Yep, he tried to steal a quarter from me and won! I had to go to the ER and had neck problems for EVER that were finally healed from a wonderful Osteopath in Santa Barbara, my first taste of non-traditional methods of healing. Since then, I’ve been hooked.
If you haven’t had the chance to stroll by this classic new barber shop, then I highly suggest you do. I’d say it perfectly complements the flavor of Old Towne Orange. Owned by Phil Hernandez and Eric Webb, this punk rock inspired barber shop caters to the ‘walk-in’ client with Men’s Cuts at $20, Straight Razor Shaves at $20 and a Single Clip Buzz at $10.
With wide eyes, long lashes and a fierce sense of style, Lauren Leigh Miller is opening shop in OTO.
I am SO excited to report that Laurenly, fashions for women, is GRAND OPENING this Saturday, June 26 at 10 am. I had the opportunity to meet up with this amazing young woman just the other day and here’s what I learned about her.
I recently heard about a group of people trying to start up a Farmer’s Market here in Old Towne Orange. A BIG Farmer’s Market, like what you would find in San Clemente or Pasadena. And more than just a Farmer’s Market, a place for local growers and artisans to get together and put out their offerings on a Saturday. Yes, I said SATURDAY!
I heard about this a while ago and was recently given an invitation to attend a Fundraising event, which happened last evening (Saturday, June 5) right around the corner from my house in fact. Of course, I would be going to this event to get the scoop and here’s what I found out.
