Ruby's Diner and Streamliner Lounge Grand Opens Tomorrow, April 19 in Old Towne Orange

Woo hoo, I’m so excited for this opening. I’ve, very luckily, had the pleasure of dining at Ruby’s test service twice and I’m in, totally in! They are opening to the public tomorrow, April 19. What they’ve done with the interiors of the restaurant are so much fun and I’ve included some photos below. Not only will this Ruby’s be serving up their delicious and original menu, but they have created a separate menu for the Streamliner Lounge.

I realize that this may make a few of you wail in sadness, but I’ve just heard that the Dairy Treet, located on Glassell just across from Chapman University is going to retire. Open since 1948, the Kim’s who own the Dairy Treet, are retiring.

Just wanted to pass along an update to my previous post about The Bruery. They had originally planned to be open before the Street Fair, but of course, there were some hold-ups. They are anticipating to be open this month, in just a couple of weeks, no actual date is set though.
