One of Old Towne Orange’s most charming little shops is letting me GIVE AWAY of one of their brand new products…in fact, it’s not even in stores yet as it’s launching tonight. I’m talking about CharmingShoppe, located just off the Circle on S. Glassell Street in Old Towne Orange. Known for all their wonderful accessories, collectables and figurines, as well as their line of Vera Bradley bags, CharmingShoppe is launching the new Summer 2011 Vera Collection this week. The new collection offers 10 new styles and 4 new fabrics.

Starting tomorrow (Thursday, March 24), the new line of Vera Bradley items will be ‘in store’ and ready for you. In the spirit of launching the new collection, there will be lots of fun giveaways and discounts going on in CharmingShoppe over the next few days.

The line up of the weekend’s events at CharmingShoppe is below.

1. HOW TO WIN THIS BRAND NEW VERA BAG: I’m going to give this fabulous bag away on Friday, March 25. It’s called the Vera and it retails for $78. All you have to do is post a comment on this blog post OR on my Facebook post telling me why you NEED to have this bag! I will throw everybody’s name in a hat and pick a winner on Friday morning. If you have friends that LOVE Vera Bradley, then be sure to forward this post to them.

A little bit about the new Vera bag I’m giving away: The Vera has the “traditional” Vera Bradley pocket configuration with six inside “slip” pockets and one outside pocket. Vera Bradley is really known for making bags with loads of pockets, so this configuration is offered in a variety of shapes and sizes, most with zippers. Since most of us are carrying a phone, camera, iPod, PDA and whatever else these days, having all those pockets really helps keep everything organized.

• The base is removable, so you can wash the entire bag.
• The Vera has a key clip, which is useful on bigger bags because it keeps your keys from falling to the bottom.
• The overall dimensions are 19.25″ x 14.75″ x 6.25″, with an 11″ strap drop.
• Personally, I think it’s a great bag for summer because it’s so colorful and fun!
