University Singers Post-Tour Concert

The 33-voice University Singers will present selections from their California tour repertoire including Renaissance works of Anerio and Monteverdi, Romantic compositions by Rheinberger and Brahms, and contemporary pieces of American composers William Hawley, Richard Burchard, and H. Garrett Phillips. Conducted by Stephen Coker, the choir will also perform folk selections from Scotland, Cuba, France, and the Philippines.
[Headshot of Stephen Coker] About Stephen Coker:Stephen Coker is Director of Choral Activities and Associate Professor of Music at Chapman University. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Coker served on the faculties of Portland State University (2006-2009), the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) from 2000-2006, and Oklahoma City University (OCU) from 1975-2000.
$15 general admission; $10 senior citizens, non-Chapman students; $5 Chapman community and alumni.
