All Treats, No Tricks at the 20th Annual Treats in the Street Autumn Festival

Ghosts, goblins and spooks galore, there will be plenty of spellbinding witches knocking at your door! As the days grow shorter and the evening shadows quickly cast over the City of Orange, we can’t help but get mesmerized by the magic and mischief that’s brewing. Halloween has always beenunnamed-3 one of our favorite holidays. Some of our fondest childhood memories were of masquerading from house to house in search of candy and other sweet treats. No bones about it, sorting and trading all the goodies by the end of the evening with family and friends was always the best part!

If you’ve been an Old Towne resident for some time, then you know all about the Treats in the Street Autumn Festival. This year marks the 20th year of this BOO-tiful tradition, and kids can’t help but get excited for this FREE community event. On Thursday October, 27 the historic Old Towne Orange Plaza will be filled with young trick or treaters on the prowl for holiday goodies. Participating Old Towne merchants will cause a stir by handinunnamed-1g out treats for the little ones. The bewitching hours are 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm. After the trick or treat fun, everyone in disguise from skeletons to superheroes are welcome to show off their “Halloween best” by strutting their creative costumes in a spooktacular parade. Who will be the ghostess with the mostest? You will have to come see for yourself!

This event is family friendly and has a cauldron of frighteningly fun activities for the whole gang. Even if you’re too old to go door to door for candy, this event will surely make you feel some serious nostalgia. There will be wickedly fun games, interactive displays and erie entertainment for all ages. Local, non-profit organizations will be selling delicious food for a price - even the wickedunnamedest witches would approve. We want to see your fangtasic Halloween costumes! Everyone attending is encouraged to dress up, however beware! Adults are not allowed to wear masks and furry friends are asked to be left at home to guard your haunted house.
