Old Towne Orange Lights Up for the Season

The 22^nd Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Candlelight Choir Procession featuring the Orange Community Master Chorale on Sunday, December 4, 2016, in the historic Old Towne Orange Plaza.

The community is invited for photo opportunities with Santa, and activities which include crafts, carnival games, and a moon bounce. Food will be sold by local non-profit groups for a nominal fee, which goes to support their works in the community.

This magical event begins at 3:30 p.m., as Santa Claus comes to the Old Towne Plaza to delight kids of all ages!  At 5:15 p.m. we officially light-up our tree for the season, which becomes the backdrop for a 350-voice choir candlelight procession. The singers take their place on the Old Towne stage backed by a full orchestra, led by musical director Michael Short.
