How to Grow a 500 LB Giant Pumpkin at Orange Home Grown Farmers & Artisans Market

It’s only spring, however we must start planting if we want the biggest pumpkin in Old Towne Orange for the fall! The Orange Home Grown Farmers and Artisans Market invites gardeners of all ages to learn how to grow a 500 LB pumpkin at this free workshop! The 50-minute, fast-paced, botany, and physics course will be let by University of California Cooperative Extension, Certified Master Gardener, Stuart Shim. He will guide class attendees on all aspects of growing their own giant cucurbits. Part of this class will include transplanting, seedling, and hopefully harvesting a giant pumpkin in the fall of 2017!
