A guide to Old Towne Orange
This event is a series of five lectures throughout the academic year by some of Chapman University’s faculty members and also trips to several interesting locations in Southern California. This specific lecture will be held by Sally Rubin, an Assistant Professor, who will be discussing “How to Make a Documentary Film: From Concept to Distribution.” Professor Rubin will touch on the pre-production process, how to receive access to subjects and topics, the process of production, and how to complete and distribute a film. She will be using Chapman students as examples to showcase their experiences in the Community Voices program and how they changed through the process.
