Annual Southern California Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics

June 2, 2016 @ 3:00 am - 3:30 pm

The 30th Annual Southern California Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics will pass through Orange this Thursday. Orange Firefighters and Police Officers will be escorting the Special Olympians carrying the Torch from the Main Place Mall to CHOC Children’s Hospital, where they will pause for a brief gathering with CHOC patients and their families.

After CHOC, the Torch will then continue its run into Old Towne, around the Plaza, and then on to Hart Park.  Once there, they will be met by our Public Safety Departments and other volunteers, who will greet them with a small party to mark the occasion.

The run begins at the Main Place Mall in Santa Ana at 3 p.m., and we anticipate the Torch’s arrival at Hart Park at 3:30 p.m.
