Path

ORANGE, CA –The City of Orange proudly presents the 23rd Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Candlelight Choir Procession featuring the Orange Community Master Chorale on Sunday, December 3, 2017, in the historic Old Towne Orange Plaza, located at the intersection of Chapman Avenue and Glassell Street.

The community is invited to enjoy good cheer, photo opportunities with Santa, and activities which include crafts, carnival games, and a moon bounce. Food will be sold by local non-profit groups for a nominal fee, which goes to support their works in the community.

This magical event begins at 3:30 p.m., as Santa Claus comes to the Old Towne Plaza to delight kids of all ages!  At 5:15 p.m. we officially light our tree for the season, which then becomes the backdrop for a 350-voice choir candlelight procession. The singers take their place on the Old Towne stage backed by a full orchestra, led by musical director Michael Short.

This event is free to the general public.    In the event of rain, or for more information, please visit www.cityoforange.org or call the special events hotline at (714) 744-7278.
