Girl Time at the Plaza

In Old Towne Orange, Top Posts

Every once in a while you need to grab your BFF and treat yourselves! We’re giving you a little outline for the best activities to do for your next girls day! Whether you’re with your girl gang or spending the day with your daughter, you’re bound to have a great time in Old Towne Orange.

Succulent Bar

The many boutiques in Old Towne Orange always have the trendiest clothes, but Zae’s Women’s Boutique has its own succulent bar! Zae’s has a variety of succulents, pots, and rocks to decorate your new little plant and they are so on trend with this little DIY project. The small succulents only cost $4 and medium-sized plants are $6. This is a great opportunity to take home a low maintenance plant to brighten up a bedroom or kitchen window while enjoying some retail therapy.

Shopping

The Plaza is home to several women’s clothing stores (thank goodness!). My closet is full of dresses, skirts, tops, and bottoms from Nectar Clothing, Laurenly, and CocoRose. DeeLux, Now and Again, and Elsewhere Vintage are a few thrift shops that are thrilling to explore because you never know what you’re going to find! With all of the boutiques and thrift shops in Old Towne, there is no way you’ll go home empty-handed.

Juice

If you’re looking for a refreshing snack check out the juices, smoothies, or bowls from Growl Juice Pub. If you follow us on Instagram, you know that Impact Juice Bar sells my favorite acai bowl of all time, but I wandered into Growl last week and was so happy with my Pitaya Banana Berry smoothie with apple juice! It was very filling and kept me full in between my early lunch and late dinner. Their juices are super refreshing, too!

Paris in a Cup

You truly can do anything in Old Towne Orange, like have your own tea party! Paris in a Cup offers tea time with their famous scones and other baked goodies and finger sandwiches. This is something you have to experience AT LEAST once in Old Towne. It’s one of the most memorable dining experiences in Old Towne Orange. Not only is it fun, but their pastries are fantastic (and you have to try their baked potato soup!). Seating is limited so make a reservation on their website.

Haven’s Bottomless Mimosas

Every weekend, Haven Craft Kitchen serves their Sunday Brunch from 9 am to 2:30 pm. Not only do they have some delish brunch items on their menu but they have bottomless mimosas. This is the perfect opportunity to catch up with your friends and the latest gossip over excellent food and tasty mimosas!

Nails

I usually get my nails done at Tranquil Nail Spa! They’re fast, clean, and very precise with my nails. But I recently tried Lollipop Nail Studio and it was the most charming nail salon I have ever been to! They were very gentle with my nails and it’s a non-toxic salon so there are no stinky smells! They even used rose petal water for my pedicure. Make sure to make a reservation if you’re interested in either nail salons!

Tell us where you like to go with the girls! What’s your favorite spot to hang out and enjoy your circle of friends?
