Friday Night Wine & Food Trolley in Old Towne Orange

I recently heard about and was invited to go on the new O.C. Wine Trolley that drives around Old Towne Orange each Friday night. Oh boy, what fun!! I am excited to report that it is a great way to spend a Friday evening and the price IS right…if you ask me anyway.

So, here’s what happens. You meet up at 6pm and hop on the trolley. It’s a covered trolley, so rain or shine, you are comfortable. Just as you are taking off, the Wine Sommelier serves up the first taste of the night, there are 5 total.

The Bruery in Old Towne Orange

Just wanted to pass along an update to my previous post about The Bruery. They had originally planned to be open before the Street Fair, but of course, there were some hold-ups. They are anticipating to be open this month, in just a couple of weeks, no actual date is set though. If you want to learn more about The Bruery and their plans for the Old Towne Orange location, then click HERE for my original post. You can also visit their blog by clicking HERE.

The Bruery Provisions Opening Soon in Old Towne Orange

Just when I was drying my eyes over Old Towne’s loss of Frog’s Breathe, and one of my favorite pastimes – wine tasting – I have a reason to smile again. That reason is the soon-to-be Tasting Room which will be located within The Bruery Provisions, opening (hopefully) this August before the Orange International Street Fair.

I hooked up with Owner Patrick Rue, his lovely wife Rachel and Manager Stef Ferrari to get the inside scoop. Here’s what I learned.

Friendly Center’s 6th Annual Evening D’Vine Wine Tasting Fundraiser, Orange CA

I love a good cause, but when there’s wine tasting involved, then I’m a real believer. This sounds like a great event that I wanted to share with you because it’s for a local cause, and it truly is a good one. Better yet, it’s at Opus Italian Restaurant and as I said, there’ll be wine tasting…

The 6th Annual Evening D’Vine Fundraiser is an event to raise funds for the Friendly Center, a dynamic resource center in Orange dedicated to improving the lives of families in need through immediate aid and a variety of educational and life skill programs. Partnering with Opus Restaurant in Orange, the event will include wine, appetizers, a raffle drawing, and a silent auction. For reservations, please contact them at (714) 771-5300.
