25th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Candlelight Choir Procession

FreeHoliday Festivities begin in the Old Towne Orange Plaza on Sunday, December 8. Santa Claus arrives at the Old Towne Plaza at 3:30 p.m. to meet and greet all the good girls and boys. The annual Tree Lighting Ceremony starts at 5:15 p.m., followed by the Candlelight Choir procession making its way through the Plaza, accompanied by a full orchestra under the direction of Michael Short.
Join the towne for an evening of holiday cheer and family fun while enjoying traditional carols of the season with the Orange Community Master Chorale led by musical director Michael Short.
Our Guest Narrator for 2019 is two time Olympic Gymnast, Tony Nominated Broadway Star, and Founder of McCoy Rigby Arts, Cathy Rigby.
Local non-profit groups will provide delicious food and youth activities for a low charge.
