I had the honest pleasure of meeting the newest family business to open in Old Towne Orange today. The shop is called Vintiques and I’d say that it’s…inspired. Owners Irma and Ken Haraughty opened up shop just a couple of months ago in the space where The Hope Chest used to be, just around the corner from Pakua.

Have you been to Mirror Mirror yet? I had the pleasure of learning about this new consignment store that opened up a few months back and so I sent my fabulous intern, Richa, off to stop by and check it out! Only about a block from the circle, Mirror Mirror is a store full of new AND consignment clothing for both men and women. Here’s the scoop, through Richa’s words!

The Assistance League of Orange® is hosting their 19th annual Boutique Noel which starts tomorrow, Wednesday, October 19th and lasts through the weekend until Sunday, October 23rd! There will be many different items available to purchase at the boutique including fall & holiday items, home decor items, hand-crafted jewelry, hand bags, kitchen, bath and beauty products and more!

Spotted Moth opened its doors on South Glassell only a few weeks ago, but it has been in business for over a year and a half. They started as an online clothing store so they could build a clientele base and reach as many people as possible. They did so well in that short amount of time that Spotted Moth now calls Old Towne Orange its home. I stopped by the store last week and I have to say that I LOVED it!

On Saturday June 25th, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday, June 26th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., there are special deals, such as all jeans are buy 1 get 1 50% off and for every $100 you spend you get a $10 giftcard. There will also be raffles going on both days and everyone who comes in to shop gets a raffle ticket. This weekend is the annual Spring Boutique at the Vogelvang Mansion.
Celebrate Spring with their Unique Handcrafts: Wooden Items, Aprons, Jewelry & Purses, Dutch Apple Cakes & other Baked Goods, as well as Easter Candy
There will also be a Charity Raffle. A portion of all sales will benefit various charities.

Lots of things to do this weekend, including this fun boutique called Beautiful Things of Spring. I’ve been to a previous boutique put on by this gal and it’s so much fun.
