On Sunday, April 15, 2012, the Orange Sunrise Rotary will proudly be hosting the 18th Annual Orange Plaza Car Show, the proceeds of which will help fund the YMCA of Orange's youth education and literacy programs. An impressive assortment of 425 pre-1975 Street Rods, Custom, and Classic vehicles will be on display at this event. This year, the show is estimated to attract over 15,000 spectators from all over to the beautiful Plaza in the City of Orange, and it is sure to be a wonderful event for the entire family to enjoy.
In addition, the Orange Elk's Lodge will be at the Car Show selling 1/4 lb hot dogs, ice cold bottled water, and chips out of their lobby, located at 211 E. Chapman Ave. The proceeds will benefit the Orange Elk's National Veteran's Service Fund, which supports local homeless veterans through Vets First, as well as the Elk's Orange Heroes Scholarship Program and other local and national programs. This event will take place from 9:30am till 2pm.
The Orange Sunrise Rotary Club is an organization of professional men and women who work as volunteers to improve the quality of life in both their own lives and in the global community. Club members represent a diverse array of local business, professional, and community leaders who strive for humanitarian serve, high ethical standards in all vocations, and goodwill and peace in the world.
The YMCA of Orange is an association that has been serving the community for over 88 years with dedicated and quality service and life-changing programs for children, adults, and families. The YMCA seeks to ensure growth and enrichment of spiritual, mental, physical, and social life for all individuals and families of the community.
The Orange Plaza Car Show will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2012 from 8am-3pm, and admission is FREE for spectators!
