2018 Tree Lighting Ceremony and Candlelight Choir Procession

ORANGE, CA – ‘Tis the season for song and merriment as the City of Orange proudly presents the 24^th Annual Tree Lighting and Candlelight Choir Procession. featuring the Orange Community Master Chorale. Celebrate the start of this holiday season on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at the historic Old Towne Orange Plaza.

This very merry community event happens only once a year, and is free for all. Get into the holiday spirit with family friendly activities like singing traditional carols, photo opportunities with Santa, and holiday crafts and games. Food will be available for purchase by local non-profit groups for a small charge.

Santa Claus arrives at the Old Towne Plaza at 3:30 p.m. to meet and greet all the good girls and boys. The annual Tree Lighting Ceremony starts at 5:15 p.m., followed by the Candlelight Choir procession making its way through the Plaza, accompanied by a full orchestra under the direction of Michael Short.
