In life, there are to-do’s and there are MUST-do’s. And this fall, Old Towne Orange has so many events, workshops, and classes that are MUST-do’s. From workshops you can take with your loved ones, to open houses and celebrations, one thing is certain: OTO loves autumn! We love it!
This week, I’ll be highlighting NINE Old Towne Orange events that we can’t recommend enough for you to attend this fall. Let’s jump right into it.
Coming up next week is a Calligraphy Workshop! Join Olivia Lin at The Potting Shed to try your hand at brush lettering! In this class, you will learn how to: use a brush pen, create basic strokes, write the upper and lower case alphabet, letter words, and create faux calligraphy. You will receive one-on-one guidance and personal instruction. Participants receive a starter kit that includes a workbook, worksheets, 3 brush pens and a variety of papers. And don’t worry, no experience is necessary. This workshop is designed for beginners and they can’t wait to see you there!
With fall entertaining approaching, The Potting Shed is so excited to introduce a new workshop. They will be inviting Mixologist Ryan Decuffa to walk you through the process of creating several divine vintage cocktail concoctions. He will be joined by Vintage Bar Ware Specialist Page Sigband and together they will teach you all you need to know about curating a classic bar. This is the perfect event for friends, partners, and parents this fall!
Who says that our pets don’t get to enjoy yummy food during the fall season? Join From Lost to Found and Pets of Orange at The Potting Shed to learn how to prepare homemade meals for your pets, which fruits and vegetables are safe and beneficial to your pets, and more! The proceeds will be going towards ongoing volunteer efforts of From Lost to Found.
Speaking of food, if you’re a Vegan or interested in seeing what vegan options are available here in Old Towne Orange, join our newsletter list and you’ll get access to a comprehensive menu of all things vegan in OTO![wpforms id=”23210″]
Shop early for the Holidays at the Tea Leaf Cottage Fall Open House! They have antiques, collectibles, beautiful vintage finds, romantic treasures for the home and garden, and more! The first 10 customers to arrive will receive 10% off their purchases.
Save the date and start making your plans to join Chapman for The Chapman Family Homecoming Celebration this fall! The weekend will be packed with community-wide events and activities to celebrate all things ‘Chapman.’ The weekend will start with the Grand Opening of the Keck Center for Science and Technology. More events include Dodge College film screenings, alumni awards, symphony concerts, art tours, sporting games, and more!
Create a beautiful succulent arrangement in a Sugar Mold. Each Sugar Mold has 7 holes, each of which becomes a miniature succulent garden. The finished arrangement will make for a beautiful rustic centerpiece on any table this fall!
This annual event will have unique gifts and bargains galore! You can find lots of different, fun items including fall and holiday items, home decor, jewelry, kitchen, bath and beauty products, and a lot more! The Assistance League of Orange provides community service through philanthropic programs that serve children and adults in need in the City of Orange. This annual Boutique Noël, which is held every fall, is one of the principal fundraising vehicles that support these philanthropic programs.
Harvest Fest has become a favorite event for families to enjoy in the Fall. Calvary Chapel Old Towne is thrilled to be bringing this event back to our Church Parking lot! Join them for this FREE annual community-wide family event! They will have a Petting Zoo, photo booth, Pony Rides, Face Painting, Games, Candy and so much more. There will be a small charge for the Hometown BBQ, so please bring cash (credit cards will be accepted) and a big appetite!
The spooky ghosts, brave superheroes, valiant knights, and fairytale princesses will all be at the historic Old Towne Orange Plaza this fall as the City of Orange celebrates the 22nd Annual Treats in the Streets Autumn Festival. This free community event will include “Trick or Treating” at participating Old Towne merchants from 4 to 5:30 pm, followed by a parade where costumed kids get to show-off their “Halloween best.” You won’t want to miss it!
