Orange Circle parking in Old Towne Orange

Do you ever struggle to find Orange Circle parking in Old Towne Orange on your lunch break?

This week, Old Towne Orange has an exciting announcement that I think is going to benefit everyone living and visiting our wonderful city.

Can you never find a space in the orange circle? Are you leaving your house 20 minutes earlier to find parking nowadays?

We’ve been around long enough to know all of that is true. That’s why you’re going to be thrilled to learn that the City of Orange just opened their new parking structure on Lemon Street on Tuesday, right off Chapman Avenue!

But why a new structure in the Orange circle? Well, if you hadn’t heard or haven’t visited Old Towne Orange in a while (and if you haven’t, then get your butt over here!) you might have noticed how quickly the Orange circle has expanded.

From new smoothie shops, coffee shops, cafes, boba houses, and more, Old Towne Orange has welcomed many new small businesses to the neighborhood over the last few years.

With the growth of Chapman University year over year, more visitors hopping off the Metrolink at the Orange Station, and overall excitement about what’s happening in Old Towne Orange, the city has met this demand by offering establishments that satisfy everyone. Hence, the need for more Orange Circle parking, which has now been delivered!!

The parking structure is wonderfully located near the Metrolink Station, Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, the Old Towne Plaza, and of course, Snooze: An AM Eatery (duh).

The structure offers 111 public parking spaces and 500 spaces for train riders, a vast improvement to what was there before.  There are some parking restrictions, so be sure to read the signs when you enter the structure.

When you go and park there for the first time, you’ll notice it has three above-ground levels and two subterranean levels.

It also offers electric car chargers, bike racks, and lockers. Congratulations to the City of Orange for seeing this project through and to all the people involved in making it happen, you are amazing!

Thank you for reading everyone. Have a great weekend and happy parking!
