City of Orange salutes America at the 23rd Annual “3rd of July” Celebration

From the City of O: Any city can celebrate America’s birthday on July 4, but City of Orange does it the right way, and gets the party started a day early.

Orange is proud to present the 23rd Annual 3rd of July Celebration and Fireworks Spectacular.  We invite our residents and visitors to come out to El Modena High School – Fred Kelly Stadium – on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 beginning at 4 p.m. to get the Independence Day party started early.

The 3rd of July Celebration features a petting zoo with pony rides, children’s activities, an army of inflatable slides and mazes, and community food booths, it is no wonder that this yearly event has been a community favorite for over two decades.  There is nothing better than coming together and celebrating our Country’s Independence, and then capping it off with our grand finale performance by the Orange Community Master Chorale and a patriotic fireworks salute to America.

El Modena High School -Fred Kelly Stadium is located at 3920 E. Spring Street, Orange, CA 92869.

In order to protect the field at Fred Kelly Stadium,  the following items are not allowed on the field: lawn chairs, food, drinks, seeds of any kind, gum, popcorn, hard soled or high-heel shoes, and any other items staff deem as harmful to the field. Wheeled items such as strollers, wheelchairs, wagons, or other wheeled items are only permitted in designated areas.

Tickets are $7- children two years old and under are free- and can be purchased at the Community Services Department, 230 East Chapman Ave. through 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 3. Tickets may also be purchased at the event site after 1:30 p.m. the day of the event. Residents can call our Special Events Hotline at (714) 744 -7278 for more information.
