August 4, 9am-1pm: This week at the Old Towne Orange Farmers & Artisans Market, the featured farmer is Future Foods Farms with a large variety of organic greens and micro-greens and this week’s featured artisan is Turlio Cookie Co. with delicious Dutch and Indonesian baked goods. Also, be sure not to miss the various food trucks at the market and the live music of the “Man of 1,000 Songs” Stephen Desmond. August 4, 7pm: Celebrate the movie release of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days with fun activities, games and crafts at the Orange Public Library & History Center! August 7, 6-9pm:Orange Police Department & Target’s event: America’s Night Out Against Crime. Get to know your local police department and learn about crime, drugs, and violence prevention. August 8, 7-8:30pm: Concerts in the park every Wednesday! Pack your picnic baskets, relax and enjoy the free entertainment under the summer starry sky! This week, The Silverados perform their contemporary country music. Concerts in the park are held at Hart Park, located at 701 South Glassell Street (at the 22 Freeway).

August 9, 7:45pm: First United Methodist Church of Orange’s Thursday Theatre night. This weeks movie is The Chipmunks: Chipwrecked. Come and enjoy family friendly movies under the stars! Snacks and drinks will be provided and all you need to bring is a lawn chair and some blacnkets. Attendance is free! August 10, 6:30-8pm: Come celebrate summer with Chapman University’s Family-Friendly Fridays Summer Concert Series! The ever-popular Alley Cats close the series with their timeless doo-wop classics and zany banter. The Alley Cats bring contagious and uplifting vitality to every show, whether entertaining the President at the White House, or “edutaining” students in their nationally recognized arts education program.
