July 21, 9am: Bring your child and their friends to create an enchanting miniature garden with the help of the fairies at Dragonfly kids fairy garden1 OTO Events July 21 27Shops and Gardens! The class is a blast for little ones and fills up quickly, so don’t delay – call and register today. Tickets are $20 and includes all materials and instruction. farmers market OTO Events July 21 27

July 21, 9-1pm: This week at the Old Towne Orange Farmers & Artisans Market, the featured farmer is Carlsbad Aquafarm with incredible oysters and muscles. The featured artisan is Fat Plant Man with fantastic succulents and cactus plants. There will also be a free yoga class at 10 am given by SunSpark Yoga! The Old Towne Orange Farms & Artisans Market is located at 304 North Cypress St.

super 8 OTO Events July 21 27July 21, 1:30-3:30pm: Saturday afternoon Movie at Orange Public Library & History Center. Munch on some popcorn and chill out in the library while watching J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg’s movie Super 8. Go back in time to a small town in Ohio during the late ‘70s and find out what a group of teens see and film during one night by the railroad station. This film is rated PG13.

historicsociety OTO Events July 21 27July 22, 4pm: The Orange Community Historical Society is holding another Historic Orange Walking Tour! The walking tours offer visitors a peek into the history of the Plaza District and surrounding areas of Old Towne Orange. Volunteer docents share the story of Orange’s founding and the significance of some of its early residences, businesses, development, and downtown buildings. The Historical Walking Tour begins at the Historic Water Fountain at the entry to the Orange Library & History Center, located at 407 E. Chapman Ave, Orange, CA  92866 (Please do not contact the library).  Free public parking is available at the library. The tour lasts approximately 90 – 120 minutes. Find out more information HERE.

July 23, 2-3pm: Manic Monday at Orange Public Library & History Center. Teen volunteers present craft and game programs for 1st-6th graders. Children may win prizes such as toys, posters, or t-shirts! This week’s event is Library Olympics! Get ready for fun games of agility, speed, and endurance inside the library!

July 24, 2-2:45pm: Tuesday’s at Orange Public Library & History Center are days with special guest performers! This week, Abby Schachner will teach you kid-friendly yoga, inspired by the text and pictures from your favorite picture books.

chapman summer concerts 1 OTO Events July 21 27July 27, 6:30-8pm: Come celebrate summer with Chapman University’s Family-Friendly Fridays Summer Concert Series! Recording artist Peter Brandon kicks off the series with the heartfelt lyrics and dancing tunes of all things country. A true showman, Brandon has headlined at many Southern California venues, shared the stage with the legendary Glen Campbell and been nominated for an LA Music Award for Song of the Year.
