I HEART ANTIQUES: A Paris kind of day in Old Towne Orange
By the Antique Addict~Nancee Richardson

After spending a wonderful afternoon having tea at Paris In A Cup, I drift out the door, daydreaming that I am walking down the Avenue Champs Elysee. Where I should have taken a left, instead I took a right…right into Antique Mall of Treasures!
In my French frame of mind, it’s not a stretch to feel I’ve been transported to the Flea Markets in Paris, surrounded by shoppers looking for an antique or souvenir to take back home with them.
I find this adorable faux French window for $42.00, which would look great in any room. Here is the DIY inspiration I’d been looking for!
A friend had given me an old window that was still sitting in the garage. Why not add a little French twist to it? So for about $5.00 of Martha Stewart black craft paint, a stencil I cut out of my favorite symbol–a Fleur de Lis–and here is what I came up with!
Although I may not actually be in France, the sun streaming through this charming window reminds me of the City of Lights — and a certain satisfying afternoon spent in Old Towne Orange.
Antique Mall of Treasures is located at 109 Glassell, Old Towne Orange CA 92866, 714-997-4320
