The Orange County Historical Society offers visitors a peek into Old Towne’s history with its popular historical walking tours of Old Towne Orange.  Docents share the story of Orange’s founding and the significance of some of its downtown buildings.

Tour dates for the 2012 season are as follows:

Saturdays at 10AM – June 9, July 14, August 11, September 8, October 13

Sundays at 4PM – June 24, July 22, August 26, September 23, October 28

The Walking Tour lasts approximately 90 minutes.  It is recommended that participants wear comfortable shoes.  The tour begins at the Historic Water Fountain at the entry to the Orange Library & History Center, located at 407 E. Chapman Ave, Orange, CA  92866.

A suggested donation of $10 per person goes to support the society’s historical projects and preservation activities.
