Here’s some exciting foodie news for you all. Starting tonight, February 24th, a rotating schedule of gourmet food trucks will be serving dinner from 5:00-8:30pm at Orange High School, right here in Old Towne Orange. A portion of the profit will support student activities and athletics at the high school. Check it out if you enjoy great food, fun times, and a good cause! Old Towne Orange Plaza is without a doubt an antique lover’s mecca, and each year the annual Antique Affair held on President’s Day weekend pays homage to this principle facet of Old Towne Orange’s character. This year, the 36th annual Antique Affair will be held on February 18th, 19th, and 20th and is hosted by several Plaza merchants, featuring storewide sales of some of OTO’s finest antique offerings of the year.

With my out of town guest in tow (my mom, who introduced to me to antiques) I veer off the beaten path from the Plaza area in Old Town Orange (OTO) so I can introduce her to a hidden gem just down the street, Higgins Design & Interiors.
Delighted by a beautiful Garden of Eden-like entry, we make our way to the front door where the owner, Mr. Gordon Higgins, greets us. He welcomes us in and makes us feel right at home as we browse from room to room looking at all the great furniture, much of it antique.

Many of the local troops in Orange will be selling cookies in the area, so take a look at the list below to find a place close to you to satisfy your sweet tooth with some delicious cookies!
