PJ’s Abbey – A Call to You, Old Towne Orange and Beyond

Many of you have read or heard that our beloved PJ’s Abbey is up for sale. I’m sure you all know by now that I am the kind of person that is ‘all for change,’ but sometimes (more than I’d like to admit to myself) even I sit back and am saddened by what the recent economy has done to us on many, and I mean many, levels. This happens to be one of those instances and what takes it up a notch is that I personally know the Mead Family and can attest to their hearts, and their passion for this community.

There’s so much more than storefronts that make up the business side of Old Towne Orange, which is why I like to find the little gems in our community and give them a shout. Shaves, Clips & Cuts at Circle City Barbers

If you haven’t had the chance to stroll by this classic new barber shop, then I highly suggest you do. I’d say it perfectly complements the flavor of Old Towne Orange. Owned by Phil Hernandez and Eric Webb, this punk rock inspired barber shop caters to the ‘walk-in’ client with Men’s Cuts at $20, Straight Razor Shaves at $20 and a Single Clip Buzz at $10.

Is TPC the Sweetest Spot in OTO?

The Perfect Circle, cleverly named for the shape of its product, is quite possibly the sweetest spot in all of Old Towne Orange. What’s that I hear? A rumble of dissent at my proclamation? Well, now that I’ve got your attention, let me tell you all I learned in my interview with TPC’s owner and founder, Alyssa.
